Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy applies to browsing pages, navigating the site, and accessing download links on V2Ray Center. The site provides download guides and technical documentation for v2rayN, v2rayNG, and v2flyNG. Client operation, subscription services, and data handling by remote servers are outside the scope of this site's page services.
1. What data we collect
This is a static content site. It does not offer account registration or forms that retain email addresses. You can browse the documentation without submitting your name, phone number, subscription URL, or client configuration. The site does not actively read client configuration files on your device, your clipboard, or your proxy traffic.
When you access pages or download endpoints, network requests send information such as your IP address, request time, page path, browser identifier, and response status to the servers providing the service. The underlying infrastructure may log this information to deliver content, handle unusual requests, and maintain security. Static pages do not mean that requests are never logged.
2. Analytics and how we use them
We use analytics to understand page readership, traffic sources, device types, and how visitors use site entry points. Events may include platform selections on download pages and clicks on download links. This helps us assess content needs, improve navigation, and diagnose page issues. A click on a download link does not confirm a successful installation or indicate how the client is used afterward.
Analytics are not intended to collect subscription or communication content. Do not add passwords, tokens, or other sensitive information to query parameters in links on this site; they could be included in request logs along with the URL. Analytics and operational logs should be processed only as needed for the purposes described above, and are not used to build profiles of client communications.
3. Cookies and local storage
Depending on the deployment configuration, analytics components may use cookies or similar identifiers to distinguish sessions from repeat visits. Page features may also use local storage to save interface preferences. You can check what is stored in your browser's site data settings. Platform anchors on download pages are part of the URL, not cookies.
Your browser lets you view, restrict, or delete cookies and local storage, and may let you block analytics scripts. Clearing site data may reset saved preferences; blocking scripts may affect some interactive features or analytics, but the main content remains available as static HTML. Browser privacy settings do not delete access logs already created on servers.
4. Download sources and third-party services
Download pages link to client files listed in the version manifest. The files are provided by upstream release sources connected through the deployment layer. A same-origin download path may forward requests through a reverse proxy, so a URL on this site's domain does not mean the files were developed by this site or stored in its directories.
Download requests are handled by the service that actually provides the file, whose logs and data practices may differ from this site's. After following a link to a third-party page, review that service's privacy policy. v2rayN, v2rayNG, v2flyNG, and any subscription services you configure independently have their own data-handling boundaries; this policy does not replace their privacy notices.
5. Privacy settings and sharing feedback
You can manage this site's permissions, storage, and script execution in your browser, and clear site data after closing the relevant tabs. The site does not need access to your location, camera, or microphone to display documentation. If you see a permission request, check where it comes from and why it is being requested.
For help, see the Help Center or Getting Started. Before describing an issue on another channel, hide subscription links, server addresses, identifiers, and credentials in screenshots and logs. This site does not manage account information; browser-side data must be handled in your browser settings.
6. Policy updates
We will revise this policy if our analytics methods, storage purposes, or download service arrangements change, and note the month of the latest update on this page. Changes involving new data collection or uses will be reflected in the relevant explanations. Where applicable rules require separate notice or consent, we will follow those requirements.
This page is the permanent link to the current policy. Review it before changing your browser privacy settings or using newly added features. Descriptions of features on other pages do not replace this policy's explanation of how data is handled.
